The CRU 2020 Research Restarting Plan has been approved. Please note that approval is contingent upon the government of the District of Columbia agreeing to accept the university’s plan to restart on-campus research activities.
The goal of this document is to help minimize risk to both participants and staff, ensure good clinical practice, and maintain clinical trial integrity throughout the COVID-19 environment. All information herein was compiled using references and guidance received from the FDA, CDC, Medstar Hospital, and Georgetown University. The CRU will follow the health care facility’s updated policies regarding PPE, visitors, screening triages, and infection prevention strategies found on Starport. Ongoing trial modifications may be necessary and risk/benefit analysis should be implemented consistently. This chart is a living document and subject to change as regulations evolve.
